The Life Of The Virgin by St. Maximus The Confessor is the oldest Autobiography of our Blessed Mother and has information from both Sacred Scripture and information he found & it tells her complete life. Also, it gives amazing details about the Nativity, The Presentation, About Our Lord’s Death and Resurrection & how she was taken into Heaven body and soul.
This book is also approved to be used Liturgically or used in the Mass when your priest or bishop or deacon does the homilies, this way he doesn’t have to guess about what the Holy Family went through and how things happened. It is a great book to use with Sacred Scripture.
Also, any lay Catholic should get this book and follow it liturgically with the calendar in the back, it really brings the Advent, Christmas and even Lent and Easter Season to life. Do not worry about the high price, it is well worth it.
